Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Sorenaq collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Sorenaq website, dashboard, connected-account integrations, and AI-assisted features.

2. Information we collect

We collect account information such as your email address and authentication details. When you connect Google or Microsoft, Sorenaq may process calendar events, email metadata, message previews, sender information, meeting links, and the permissions necessary to perform actions you request. Sorenaq also stores tasks and other information you create directly in the service.

3. Email content

Sorenaq stores normalized email metadata and message previews needed to power the unified inbox. Full Gmail or Outlook message content is fetched from the provider when you open a message rather than being persistently stored as part of the normal inbox sync.

4. Connected-account credentials

OAuth access and refresh tokens used to connect supported providers are stored server-side and encrypted. Sorenaq does not ask you to provide your Google or Microsoft password directly.

5. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, sync connected services, display calendars and email, send or manage messages when you request it, manage tasks, provide meeting links, power Ask Sorenaq, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve the reliability and usability of the service.

6. AI processing

When you use Ask Sorenaq, relevant workday context such as upcoming events, task information, recent email metadata, and message previews may be sent to an AI service provider to generate a response. Sorenaq limits the context sent to what is reasonably necessary for the feature being used.

7. Service providers

Sorenaq relies on service providers to operate the product, including infrastructure, authentication, database, email and calendar APIs, hosting, and AI services. These providers process information on our behalf or as independent services under their own terms and privacy obligations.

8. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers when necessary to operate Sorenaq, when you direct us to interact with a connected provider, to protect users or the service, or when required by law.

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, row-level database security, encrypted provider tokens, and server-side secret management. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you should protect your own account credentials and connected accounts.

10. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Sorenaq, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Connected-provider data may be removed or refreshed when you disconnect an integration, delete information, or close your account, subject to limited backup or legal-retention needs.

11. Your choices

You can choose which supported accounts to connect, disconnect integrations, manage your tasks and messages through the available controls, and stop using Sorenaq at any time. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and security verification.

12. Children's privacy

Sorenaq is intended for work and productivity use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Sorenaq changes. When updates are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or another appropriate method and update the effective date above.
